Since many years Hotel Nemo in Safaga is  involved in Special School Safaga for Mentally Handicapped Children. One of the employees of the school, Yussef, has a small nursery in Safaga which is attended by normal children as well as by some children with a disability. Sofie Deconick, co-founder of Special School Safaga, is always willing to reach out a helping hand to each child with mental and/or physical limitations. Therefor she happily makes the facilities and beach of her hotel available for the children of Yussef’s nursery. From time to time they are able to enjoy the beach and fun games of Hotel Nemo.
