The staff of Nemo Dive Club & Hotel
Sofie was born as genuine West-Flemish in Waregem, Belgium. She lives and works as co-owner of Nemo Dive Club & Hotel in Safaga. Sophie co-founded the organization and is responsible for public relations, fundraising, general management and opening her big heart for “her kids” and animals in need of Safaga.
Danielle lives actually in Germany. Her continuous support and expertise of the project by the Foundation is very much appreciated. Assemblage of videos and formatting & selling the postcards are some of her contributions.j
Katrien originally comes from Heusden near Gent, Belgium. After many world travels she now lives most of the year in Kilotamania, near Safaga. She is committed to her volunteer work for the school and also dedicated to hrlping the many street animals. Since 2012 she’s responsible for the weekly activities, workshops and entertainment, transportation, general administration and correspondence, logistics and managing the website.
Nadine Portugaels lived and worked in Overpelt, Belgium before settling down in Kilotamania in 2014. Many years she was professionally envolved with children: as the owner of her children’s Theatre, childrens animator, balloon clown, child grimeuse but above all as mediclown. With her vast experience, she is the driving artistic and creative force of the Organization.
Cairese Ahmed lives and works in Nemo Dive Club and Hotel in Safaga. Since the early start in 2011 he is an active member of the organization. Actually Ahmed is responsible for the water therapies. His help in the communications between the childrens parents and the foundation is of major importance.
Meike returned in 2015 to her home country Germany. There she will remain responsible for foreign fundraising. She, together with Sofie, made the water therapy and the treatment of our physically disabled children possible.
Born and raised in Safaga. As manager of Nemo Dive Club & Hotel, he works since 2011 actively in the daily management of the organization and manages the local contacts.
Always willing to reach out a helping hand, always with a big smile.
